Designed by 360° Architecture and completed in 2024, the school is a benchmark for sustainable educational design, and its learning spaces run on Kayar rubber flooring, the same range Spectrum supplies here in Australia.
The project: Group Scolaire Rosa Bonheur
The building leverages bio-based construction to enrich student and faculty wellbeing. Using a Pyrenean timber structure keeps the carbon footprint low. Raw clay bricks regulate temperature and acoustics. And a curving zinc roof partitions classrooms to ensure there are zero disruptions.
Geothermal systems and local materials turn Rosa Bonheur into what designers call a “silent educator” on sustainability. Kayar rubber floorings add the durability, acoustic comfort, and low-emission credentials these spaces demand.
