Non-toxic flooring made from recycled materials.
Spectrum Rubber flooring has been independently certified for its non-toxic and recyclable qualities through Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA). At Spectrum Floors we are dedicated to sourcing quality non-toxic floors that are made from recyclable materials. As an Australian family business with traditional values we believe in non-toxic flooring building products.
Becoming a GECA licensee was a logical choice to provide Spectrum Floors’ clients the assurance that the rubber flooring products they specify through Spectrum are eligible for use in Green Star projects.
GECA’s ecolabel
GECA is a world class ecolabelling program. The GECA ecolabel is an independent ‘tick’ that shows a product is better for the environment, has a lower impact on human health and has been ethically made.
GECA’s label makes it easy for architects, specifiers, procurement professionals and consumers to decide if a product really is as environmentally friendly as it claims to be. Many GECA certified products are eligible for use in Green Star Projects across Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
GECA’s standards are recognised by the Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia (ISCA), and many are recognised at Level A by the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA). Many also contribute to the WELL Building Institute and NABERS (office Indoor Air Quality).
