Used fishing nets are one of the main components used to make Spectrum Portal Plus. The fishing nets, along with 50% post-industrial and 50% post-consumer waste, are ground up and reclaimed into newly regenerated ECONYL® yarn. Most energy used in production is solar.
How the clean-off zone works
Walking across Spectrum Portal Plus creates friction which allows you to walk your shoes clean. A specific surface structure captures water and dirt, removing it from sight. Spectrum Portal Plus is both long lasting and easy to clean.
Suitable for intensive use
Spectrum Portal Plus is specifically developed for transition areas between dirty and clean spaces. This includes entrances, lift areas, coffee and vending machine corners, and passages connecting production areas and office spaces. An ideal solution for education, healthcare, retail and commercial environments.
